JOST’s foundational trailer landing gear series, the Standard A400 Series features all of the key benefits that set JOST landing gear products apart from the competition. Complete with an internal gearbox and a reinforced design that adds strength, durability, and functionality, the Standard A400 Series is the go-to landing gear series for any commercial trucking application.

  • No external gearbox
  • 10 bolt mounting pattern adds mounting rigidity
  • Reinforcing strap at the bottom of the upper housing for added strength
  • Austempered ductile iron gears will not wear out
  • Double “D” style shaft allows crank force to go directly into the gearbox

  • Rated Lift Capacity** 55,000 lbs
  • Sideload Capacity* 29,000 lbs / set

Internal Gearbox

Sealed Cover & Bushings

Both cover and bushings are sealed to keep moisture out, reducing exposure to road chemicals and water that can cause damage.

Double "D" Style Shaft

Eliminates torque on the bolt, enabling crank force to go directly into the gearbox, extending the lifetime value and reliability of the product.
